Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-13

MadSlope is for businesses only. We offer MadSlope only to businesses and to professionals who act for a business. We do not offer it to consumers. By using MadSlope, you confirm that you act for a business, trade or profession, and not for personal, family or household purposes. You must be at least 18 years old to use MadSlope.

1. Who we are

MadSlope is a service of Aluminum.io, Inc. ("MadSlope", "we", "us"). Our address is 313 S State St, Dover, DE 19901, United States. You can contact us through the contact form at www.madslope.com/contact (topic "Legal notice"). Send written notices to our postal address.

These Terms are a contract between us and the organization for which you use MadSlope ("you", "the customer"). If you accept these Terms for an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it.

2. Acceptance

You accept these Terms when you check the box "I agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Notice" at sign-up. If you already have an account, MadSlope asks you once to check the same box before you continue. When we change these Terms, you accept the new version if you continue to use MadSlope after we post it (section 18). If you do not accept these Terms, do not use MadSlope.

3. Accounts

  1. You sign in with a Google Workspace account. We do not accept personal Google accounts. We read your name, email address, profile picture and Workspace domain from Google.
  2. Each account belongs to an organization. People with the same Workspace domain can join the organization when its owner allows it.
  3. Owners and admins of an organization can buy downloads and, where available, place ads for that organization.
  4. You are responsible for all use of the accounts of your organization, including use through the MadSlope command-line tool and API. Keep your Google account and devices secure. Tell us at once through the contact form at www.madslope.com/contact if you think someone used your account without permission.

4. The service

  1. Previews. MadSlope makes short video ads (about 10 seconds) from your brief, your brand assets and your settings. Previews are free. They have a watermark and an end card. We can show a preview on a public preview page when you share its link. Previews are for internal review only (section 9A).
  2. Paid downloads. When you buy an ad, you get two files:
    • the "for paid ads" file, which has a visible AI notice (section 8); and
    • the clean file, which has no AI notice (section 9).
  3. Ad placement. Where we make it available to you, MadSlope can send an ad that you bought to Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok or Google Ads (YouTube), through our placement provider. You connect your own ad accounts. The ad runs in your ad account and your payment method pays the platform. MadSlope does not hold, receive or pay your ad spend.
  4. Changes. We can change, add or remove features. We can stop a feature with reasonable notice where practical.
  5. AI output. Our video engine makes content automatically. Two runs from the same input can give different results. Output can contain errors, artifacts, text that is wrong, or content that looks like real people, places, products or brands (section 7).

4A. The website and briefs

This section applies to everyone who uses www.madslope.com, also without a MadSlope account.

  1. Send true information about yourself and your business.
  2. Do not use the forms on the website to send spam, sales pitches, malware or automated messages. If you do, we may block you and report you to the authorities or to other organizations.
  3. Do not try to break into, overload or copy the website.
  4. A brief does not create a contract. We agree to do work for you only when we confirm the scope, price and delivery time with you in writing.
  5. The text, pixel art and design of the website belong to MadSlope. Do not copy them without our permission.
  6. Section 14 (Disclaimers) and section 15 (Limitation of liability) also apply to the website.

5. Fees and payment

  1. We show the price before you buy. The price of one ad download is US$29 unless the checkout page shows a different price. Prices do not include taxes. Taxes may apply, and you pay them.
  2. Stripe processes payments. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe's terms apply to the payment.
  3. You pay for the download when you buy it. You get the paid files after the payment succeeds.
  4. Refunds. All sales are final once the file is delivered. We refund a purchase if we cannot deliver the file, or where the law requires it.
  5. Immediate delivery. MadSlope is not offered to consumers. If a law nevertheless gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, you ask us, when you buy, to supply the paid files at once, and you acknowledge that you lose that right when the supply starts.
  6. Ad spend is between you and the platform. Platform charges, budgets, taxes and billing disputes are your responsibility.

6. You are the advertiser

When you use an ad from MadSlope, in a paid placement or anywhere else, you are the advertiser. This is true also when MadSlope sends the ad to the platform for you. You are responsible for:

  1. the content of the ad and all claims in it, including headline, body text, call to action and any statement about price, results, health, money or safety, and the evidence for these claims;
  2. the landing page and the link in the ad;
  3. the audience, targeting, locations, schedule and budget;
  4. your ad accounts, their payment methods and all spend;
  5. the platform's advertising policies and terms (Meta, TikTok, Google), including its AI-disclosure rules;
  6. the laws of each place where the ad runs or is seen, including advertising, consumer protection, AI-disclosure, synthetic-performer, privacy and intellectual-property laws;
  7. the settings of each placement that you choose in MadSlope, including the wording and the position of the AI notice (section 8).

MadSlope checks some things before a placement (for example, that the ad account is ready and that you confirm that the ad is not in a special ad category). These checks help you. They do not move your responsibility to us, and they are not legal advice.

7. AI-generated content and synthetic performers

  1. Ads from MadSlope are made with AI. Most ads show people who are made by AI and are not real people ("synthetic performers"). Some ads have AI-made voices.
  2. An AI-made person can look or sound like a real person by chance. Do not use an ad if a person in it looks like a real, identifiable person. Tell us through the contact form at www.madslope.com/contact (topic "Copyright or likeness complaint").
  3. Do not present an AI-made person as a real customer, user, employee, expert or endorser. Do not use an AI-made person to give a testimonial or a review. Do not state or suggest that a person in the ad used your product, unless that is true and the person is real.
  4. Some laws require a clear notice when an ad has a synthetic performer (for example New York General Business Law §396-b, and from 1 January 2027 California Business and Professions Code §17610) or is AI-generated (for example Article 50 of the EU AI Act). Platform policies can also require it (for example TikTok for all ads). You are responsible for these notices where you run the ad, except for the notice that MadSlope burns into the "for paid ads" file and the platform AI flags that MadSlope sets for a placement (section 8).

8. The AI notice in the "for paid ads" file

  1. MadSlope burns a visible notice into the "for paid ads" file and into every ad that MadSlope places. The notice is on screen for the full length of the video. The default text is "Made with AI · MadSlope".
  2. You can change the wording. Where MadSlope makes it available, you can replace the default text with your own text. You are responsible for the wording that you choose.
  3. You choose the position. By default the notice is in an area that the platforms do not cover with their buttons and captions. You can move the notice. When you move it to an area that a platform can cover, MadSlope shows a warning. You are responsible for the position that you choose, and for the result if a platform's buttons, captions, crops or enhancements hide the notice.
  4. Where MadSlope supports it, MadSlope sets the platform's AI flag when it places an ad (today: Meta "AI info" self-disclosure and the YouTube "altered or synthetic content" setting). A platform decides if and how it shows its label. A platform label can be less visible than the burned-in notice.
  5. You must:
    • use the "for paid ads" file, not the clean file, for any paid ad where a law or a platform policy requires an AI or synthetic-performer disclosure, unless you add a disclosure that meets that requirement yourself;
    • keep the notice visible and readable for the full ad where a law or a platform policy requires it;
    • not remove, crop, cover, blur, shorten or change the notice, and not edit the file in a way that hides it;
    • turn off platform features that crop the video or add overlays where they can hide the notice (for example automatic creative enhancements);
    • not turn off a platform AI flag that MadSlope set, unless the law and the platform policy permit it.
  6. You are responsible for compliance. You are responsible for the wording and the position of the notice that you choose, and for meeting the disclosure laws of each place where the ad runs (for example the "synthetic performer" disclosure that New York General Business Law §396-b requires). MadSlope's default wording is not a guarantee that the ad complies with a law or a platform policy. The notice and the flags are tools to help you disclose. They do not guarantee that the ad complies with every law or policy where it runs.

9. The clean file

  1. The clean file has no AI notice and no watermark.
  2. You can use the clean file for uses where no AI disclosure is required, or where you add a disclosure yourself, for example on your own website, in email, or in organic (unpaid) social posts.
  3. When you use the clean file, you are responsible for any disclosure that the law or the platform requires. MadSlope does not set platform flags for the clean file and does not know where you use it.

9A. Previews are not ads

  1. Watermarked previews are for internal review only. This includes the preview in the app, the public preview page and preview share links.
  2. Previews are not ads. They have no AI notice. They are not designed or treated as compliant with any law or platform rule on AI-generated content or synthetic performers.
  3. You must not use a preview as an ad, and you must not publish or distribute a preview as advertising.
  4. Only the "for paid ads" file carries the AI notice (section 8).

10. Prohibited uses

You must not use MadSlope or its output:

  1. to deceive people, including fake reviews, fake testimonials, fake endorsements or invented customers;
  2. to impersonate a real person, company or brand, or to suggest that a real person appears in or endorses the ad;
  3. for political, election or social-issue ads;
  4. for ads in special ad categories while MadSlope blocks them: housing, employment, credit, politics or social issues, financial products, gambling and health claims;
  5. with content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy rights;
  6. for content that is unlawful, sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, or that targets children;
  7. to break, probe or overload the service, or to get around its limits, payments, watermarks or access controls;
  8. in a way that breaks a platform's policy or terms.

We can refuse a brief, block an ad, or pause or stop a placement that we believe breaks these Terms, a law or a platform policy. Where practical, we tell you why.

11. Your inputs and brand assets

Our prices reflect the terms in sections 11 and 12. If you need different terms, see section 12.7.

  1. Inputs are the briefs, ideas, prompts, text, website content, images and other material that you give us. Brand assets are the real logos, trademarks and other brand material of your business that you upload.
  2. Our rights in inputs. You give us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence, which we may transfer and sublicense, to use, copy, store, change, adapt, publish and distribute your inputs, and to use the ideas in them, for any purpose. This includes providing MadSlope, our marketing, examples and demonstrations, improving MadSlope, training, testing and improving the AI models and systems that MadSlope uses or develops (including abuse detection), and enforcing these Terms and preventing abuse and fraud. We may keep copies of your inputs, also after you stop using MadSlope, close your account or ask us to delete data. This section 11.2 does not apply to brand assets (section 11.3).
  3. Your brand assets stay yours. We use your brand assets to provide MadSlope to you, to show ads that we made for you as examples of our work (for example on www.madslope.com), and to train, test and improve the AI models and systems that MadSlope uses or develops (including abuse detection). The training use covers the logos, images and other brand files that you upload and the output that contains them, and it continues after you stop using MadSlope, close your account or ask us to delete data. If you do not want us to show your ads as examples, tell us through the contact form at www.madslope.com/contact; we then stop new uses as examples within a reasonable time. We do not use your brand assets for other purposes, and we do not publish them outside your ads and the examples. You give us the non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence that we need for these uses, including to send your brand assets to the service providers in section 13.
  4. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions for your inputs and brand assets, and that our use under these Terms does not break a law or a right of another person. Do not upload an image of a real person without that person's permission.

12. Ownership and licence of the output

  1. We own the output. As between you and us, MadSlope owns all rights in the previews, the paid files and all other output that MadSlope makes, to the extent that such rights exist. Your brand assets in the output stay yours (section 11.3).
  2. Your licence. After you pay for an ad, we give you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, copy, change, publish and distribute the paid files for the purposes of your business, for example in advertising, in marketing, on your website and in social media. Your agencies and contractors may use the paid files for you under this licence. You may not sell or license the paid files to others as stand-alone files.
  3. Our use of output. We may keep copies of all output and use, re-use, change and publish it, and the briefs, prompts and ideas behind it, for any purpose, including our marketing, examples and demonstrations, improving MadSlope, training, testing and improving the AI models and systems that MadSlope uses or develops (including abuse detection), and enforcing these Terms and preventing abuse and fraud. This continues after you stop using MadSlope, close your account or ask us to delete data. Where we re-use output that shows your brand assets for a purpose other than providing MadSlope to you, showing your ads as examples, or training, testing and improving our AI models and systems (section 11.3), we first remove your brand assets. Other customers can get output that is similar or the same.
  4. Before payment, you may use a watermarked preview only to review it and to share it for review (section 9A). You must not remove the watermark.
  5. Copyright. Content made by AI may not be protected by copyright, for example in the United States. We do not promise that you can register or enforce a copyright in the output, or that the output is unique.
  6. Marks in the media. We may add invisible marks or metadata (for example watermarks and provenance data) to the media that MadSlope makes, to identify it as AI-generated and as made by MadSlope. Do not remove or change these marks or metadata.
  7. Enterprise terms. If you need different terms, for example about ownership, use of your inputs, retention or deletion, contact us for enterprise terms through the contact form at www.madslope.com/contact (topic "General"). Different terms apply only when we both sign them in writing.
  8. MadSlope and its licensors keep all rights in the service, the software, the templates, the watermarks, the notice design and the MadSlope name and logo. These Terms do not give you a right to use them, except as the notice in section 8 requires.

13. Third-party services

MadSlope uses third-party services. Their terms apply to your use of them:

We are not responsible for a third-party service, its availability, its decisions (for example an ad rejection or an account restriction), or its changes. If a platform or provider changes or stops its service, a MadSlope feature can change or stop.

YouTube. MadSlope uses YouTube API Services to put your ads on YouTube. By using MadSlope's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

13A. Data from the ad platforms

What MadSlope uses. MadSlope is a service for businesses. It uses only the platforms' ad publishing and reporting APIs: the Meta Marketing API (through our placement provider), the TikTok API for Business, the Google Ads API, and the YouTube Data API to upload your ads to your YouTube channel. MadSlope does not access social data: it does not read profiles, friends or followers, posts, messages, likes, or personal data about the people who see your ads. MadSlope is not a consumer or social app.

  1. Platform data is the data that MadSlope gets from Meta, TikTok or Google Ads (YouTube) through these APIs when you connect an ad account or place an ad: login tokens, platform user and account IDs and names, ad account and YouTube channel details, the platform IDs and status of your ads, and ad metrics.
  2. We use platform data only to provide MadSlope's placement and reporting features to you, as each platform's terms permit. We do not use platform data to train AI models. We do not sell platform data, and we do not combine one customer's platform data with another customer's.
  3. Deletion. You can disconnect a platform and ask us to delete platform data at any time. We then delete the login tokens and the platform data, as our Data Deletion Instructions and section 8A of the Privacy Notice say. Exception: if we have reason to suspect fraud, spam, abuse, or misuse of the AI notice (for example a notice that was removed or changed), we may keep the specific records that we need to investigate it, to act on it, and for legal claims; and we keep data where the law requires us to keep it. We keep only what is needed for that purpose, we restrict access to it, and we delete it when we no longer need it.
  4. MadSlope data is not platform data. Our own records about your account and organization and the people who use them are MadSlope data: account and identity details, email addresses, IP addresses, your inputs (section 11), the output (section 12), purchase records, the records of the placements that we made (what we sent to a platform, when, and the AI notice and flags that we set), and our enforcement records. This is true also when a record is about an ad that runs on a platform. A deletion of platform data does not delete MadSlope data (section 17.1).

14. Disclaimers

MADSLOPE AND ITS OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE EXTENT THE LAW PERMITS, WE GIVE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT AN AD WILL BE APPROVED BY A PLATFORM, GET RESULTS, OR COMPLY WITH EVERY LAW OR POLICY WHERE YOU RUN IT. NOTHING IN MADSLOPE IS LEGAL ADVICE.

15. Limitation of liability

  1. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW PERMITS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR AD SPEND.
  2. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ABOUT MADSLOPE IS LIMITED TO US$100.
  3. These limits do not apply to liability that the law does not permit us to limit or exclude (for example, for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

16. Indemnity

  1. You will defend and indemnify MadSlope, its officers, employees and contractors against claims, fines, penalties, damages and costs (including reasonable lawyers' fees) that come from:
    • the content, claims, landing pages, targeting and running of your ads;
    • your use of a preview as an ad (section 9A);
    • your inputs;
    • your choice of the wording and the position of the AI notice, and any removal, covering or change of the notice;
    • your use of the clean file, including the absence of a required disclosure;
    • your breach of a law, a platform policy or these Terms.
  2. MadSlope must tell you promptly of a claim, let you control the defence, and help you at your cost. You must not settle a claim in a way that makes MadSlope admit fault or pay money without our written consent.

17. Suspension and termination

  1. You can stop using MadSlope at any time. To close an account, or to ask us to delete data, use the contact form at www.madslope.com/contact. Our Data Deletion Instructions say how to disconnect your ad accounts and which data we delete. When you close your account or ask us to delete data, we delete the login tokens and the platform data as section 13A says. We keep MadSlope data (section 13A.4), including the details of the account, the organization and the people who used them. We keep it to enforce these Terms; to prevent and investigate fraud, spam and abuse, including the removal or change of an AI notice or other misrepresentation of AI output; for legal claims; and for our legal, tax and accounting duties. We may also use it to train and improve our systems, including our AI models and abuse detection (sections 11.2, 11.3 and 12.3). Section 6 of the Privacy Notice says what data we keep.
  2. We can suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if you do not pay, or if the law or a platform requires it. Where practical, we tell you first.
  3. When an account closes, we may stop or pause the placements that MadSlope manages for it. Ads in your ad account stay under your control there; you are responsible for stopping them. The licence in section 12.2 for files that you paid for continues. Sections 5, 6, 7, 9, 9A, 10, 11, 12, 13A and 14 to 20 continue after termination.

18. Changes to these Terms

  1. We may change these Terms at any time. We do this by posting the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. The new version applies from the time we post it.
  2. You are responsible for checking this page for changes.
  3. If you continue to use MadSlope after we post a new version, you accept it. If you do not accept it, stop using MadSlope.
  4. We may also tell you of a change in the app or by email, but we do not have to.

19. Governing law and disputes

The laws of the State of Delaware, United States, govern these Terms and all disputes about MadSlope, without regard to their conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over these disputes, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

20. General

These Terms, the Privacy Notice and the AI Disclosure Policy are the full agreement about MadSlope, unless we both sign enterprise terms (section 12.7). If a part is not enforceable, the rest stays in force. You cannot transfer these Terms without our written permission; we can transfer them with our business. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
